The Search Center is a very potent front-end for your web browser. You may set it up as your browser's start page or you can add it to your links bar (in Internet Explorer) or your Personal Toolbar Folder(in Netscape Navigator). The installation routine will create a folder on your hard drive and expand the files into the new folder. The default folder location is C:\search, however during installation the dialog will give you the opportunity to select a new location. e.g. Some may wish to install to C:\program files\search. After the routine expands the file, it will automatically evoke your default web browser with Geoffrey's Search Center displayed. Internet Explorer Setup: * In the Internet Explorer menu, pull down Favorites | Add to Favorites. If you put the link in your Favorites/Links directory, then you will have a link to the page on your link bar. Label the link "Search". Use this to do internet searching like a pro. You can make the page your browser's start page by going to Tools | Internet Options |Home Page and clicking "use current" when the page is displayed. Netscape Navigator Setup: * Bookmark the page by typing Control + D (i.e. hold down the ctrl key and simultaneously type the letter D). Then type Control + B to bring up the Bookmark Manager. If you move the link to your Personal Toolbar Folder, then you will have a link to the page on your browser's Personal Toolbar. Label the link "Search". Use this to do internet searching like a pro. You can make the page your browser's start page by going to Edit | Preferences |Home Page and clicking "Use Current Page" under Home page Location when the page is displayed.
